The way back to serenity

Derangement in my opinion is the worst thing that can be set a warrior. A man of knowledge is only such for a fleeting moment then he must return again to the world of ordinary affairs ~ knowledge is a crashing wave and as it breaks upon the shores of knowing – Only then does a warrior understand and perhaps see

The spirit tests us in order to learn…. The teaching of the spirit is hard but forces us to bring forth the understanding that will counter-act the derangement we experience at that moment

The spirit is inescapable and on the path with heart there is no turning back from the lessons that are taught. It is only through our ability to acquiesce to the spirit, that we can overcome the concepts and ideas that plague us while we are deranged….

…. these are aspects of human form are what Don Juan described as illusory ~ they are what has been taught to us through the description of the world… This anxiety will fade over time as personal power grows and awareness becomes sharper and with a greater ability to handle the gift which is given.

It is important to have a perspective then ~ only through seeing the world is it possible to transcend ideas such as the Flyers, and other aberrant thought forms. With ruthlessness, cunning patience and sweetness, it can be cracked ~

To arrive at intent is the greatest achievement of the warrior ~ to have recapitulated to such a degree that none of these things any longer matter ~ To have the power in themselves to handle intent ~ this is the NAGUAL the true SEER!!

Quitting the Internal Dialogue

We remember in distinctly different ways. One is with the inventory of the mind our memory. And the other energetically with the whole being. The internal dialogue is said to be the description of the world. The subjective re-enactment of the objective world internalized in our heads (so to speak). One talks to oneself about everything that is ‘done’ in the world (or in connection with ourselves) and this produces an inventory of doing which creates and sustains our reality – our description. This inventory produces our routine and habit – things come round to where you need them again. The internal dialogue is characterized by routine circular thinking. All too often we are dictated to by our thoughts.

Well there is a way to drop anything we want from this inventory at any time, like smoking for instance. One cigarette at a time is the prescribed method for stopping smoking. You take a strategically placed break, skip one from your usual routine, which is said to be an effective method. Normally we are informed by the senses (of the need to smoke) the mind subsequently informs the body to deal with the matter by acting in a specific way. But instead of reaching for a cigarette we occupy our selves with something else in order to stop the craving. In this instance we place a break in the habituation. Which allows us to change our thought processes and to hold off from the associated practice ‘You don’t have the cigarette and you don’t think about it and instead do something else’.

There is a direct correlation between the thoughts we think and the behavior we involve ourselves in. The whole of our lives are run like this. The habituated “I need a cigarette” or “I need to eat now”. In all these instances we are recalling with our minds the learnt behavior. Our senses inform our subconscious thinking that we need, want, or desire something. Our conscious mind is then informed and we think we know. The mind tricking us into believing that it sparked the thought in the first place.

This is the internal dialogue – the mind is the trickster.

Human beings are also capable of remembering energetically, the body remembers. All these memories are in the form of stored/locked up energy.

Every activity or encounter you have by necessity means an exchange of energy, with a person, or with the world (you smoke a cigarette, you ingest its chemicals or you take on it energy so to speak).

So it is with all personal interactions – you gain, lose or trade energy.

These energetic encounters influence our thinking and our being.

Well stopping the internal dialogue is allowing the body to remember. Cutting the thought process is allowing ourselves to become aware. However we achieve this, we are enabling ourselves to free up this energy and to become aligned with our true selves, cutting out the middle man. Becoming aware of the true state of affairs – we no longer need to be informed or inform because we just know and are in control of our behavior.

This is why in generally it is a better an approach in giving up things like smoking, to not try forgetting with the head or even consciously trying to will yourself to give up. But rather to allow the body to be remember how to ‘not-do’ the activity. In this the energy is released and diverted elsewhere.

with the specific example of smoking, the craving we feel is induced by oxygen being cut off from the brain. This only lasts for three minutes. If we can divert our attention elsewhere for this period of time, then the craving will dissipate. Allow us to skip the cigarette and for that period of time not to smoke. In this we take control of our addiction.

This can be repeated and expanded upon until we are no longer smoking.

The main thing to know is to avoid anxiety situations as this is what causes us to crack and reach for the cigarettes again.

The Sorcerer’s Diagram

“We are perceives,” he proceeded. “The world that we perceive though, is an illusion. It was created by a description that was told to us since the moment we were born. “We, the luminous beings, are born with two rings of power, but we use only one to create the world. That ring, which is hooked very soon after we are born, is reason, and its companion is talking. Between the two they concoct and maintain the world. So, in essence, the world that your reason wants to sustain is the world created by a description and its dogmatic and inviolable rules, which the reason learns to accept and defend.”

“The secret of the luminous beings is that they have another ring of power which is never used, the ‘will’. The trick of the sorcerer is the same trick of the average man. Both have a description; one, the average man, upholds it with his reason; the other, the sorcerer, upholds it with his will. Both descriptions have their rules and the rules are perceivable, but the advantage of the sorcerer is that will is more engulfing than reason The diagram in the ashes had two epicenters; one he called ‘reason’, the other, ‘will’. ‘Reason’ was interconnected directly with a point he called ‘talking’.”

Through ‘talking’, ‘reason’ was indirectly connected to three other points, ‘feeling’, ‘dreaming’ and ‘seeing’. The other epicentre, ‘will’, was directly connected to ‘feeling’, ‘dreaming’ and ‘seeing’; but only indirectly to ‘reason’ and ‘talking’. I remarked that the diagram was different from the one I had recorded years before. “The outer form is of no importance,” he said. “These points represent a human being and can be drawn in any way you want.” “Do they represent the body of a human being?” I asked. “Don’t call it the body,” he said. “These are eight points on the fibres of a luminous being.”

“A sorcerer says, as you can see in the diagram, that a human being is, first of all, will, because will is directly connected to three points, feeling, dreaming and seeing; then next, a human being is reason. This is properly a centre that is smaller than will; it is connected only with talking.”

“What are the other two points don Juan”? “We may say that every one of us brings to the world eight points. Two of them reason and talking are known by everyone. Feeling is always vague but somehow familiar. But only in the world of sorcerers does one get fully acquainted with dreaming, seeing, and will, And finally, at the outer edge of that world one encounters the other two. The eight points make the totality of oneself”. He showed me in the diagram that in essence all the points could be made to connect with one another indirectly.

I asked him again about the two mysterious remaining points. He showed me that they were connected only to will, and that they were removed from feeling, dreaming, and seeing and much more distant from talking and reason. He pointed with his finger to show that they were isolated from the rest and from each other. “Those two points will never yield to talking or to reason”, he said. “Only will can handle them”. “Reason is so far removed from them that it is utterly useless to try figuring them out”. He touched my head and said, that was the centre of reason and talking. The tip of my sternum was the centre of my feeling. The area below the naval was will. Dreaming was on the right side against the ribs. Seeing on the left. He said that sometimes in some warriors seeing and dreaming were on the right side. “We are perceiver. We are an awareness, we are not objects, we have no solidity, We are boundless. The world of objects and solidity is a way of making our passage on earth convenient. It is only a description that was created to help us. We, or rather our reason forget that the description is only a description and thus we entrap the totality of ourselves in a vicious circle from which we rarely emerge in our lifetime”.
